​How to help
The Birthday Cake Projects SA was started in 2011 by then 16 year old Thabile Thabethe in an effort to bring joy to the orphaned kids in South Africa. A cake may not seem like much to some but it can mean the world to an orphan.

Volunteering
There are many South Africans who volunteer their time because they want to make a difference. Problems can seem so overwhelming leaving one not knowing what to do or where to help. This project offers a platform for those who wish to do something with the little they have. Whether you are a baking enthusiast or baking for business you can bake a cake for your nearest home once a month in celebration of the birthdays of the little ones or the aged housed therein.

Kids & The Aged
Kids and the aged are the most vulnerable in our society. By this project, we seek to instill a sense of belonging reminding them that no matter what their circumstances South Africa cares. No matter how small the gesture, it can go a long way!

The Birthday Cake Project SA aims to reach more children nationally. Our Birthday Cake Angels can be found countrywide and have kindly offered their time and service to put more smiles on the faces of South Africa's little ones.
